  We recently moved into our rental and have had nothing but issues. As soon as we got in, the house had no heat. We call and maintenance can’t come out for four days. 3 nights in 40 degree cold with 3 kids under 3, including an infant. They’re rectification? $100 a night for hotel and they’ll take off the per diem we aren’t in the house. Maintenance guy finally comes out, tries to fix it and ends up breaking it more cause now none of it works when previously the thermostat at least was on. He says he’ll come the next morning with his supervisor. Nope! 2 more days of waiting! Coming from out of state, we couldn’t be here for the move in inspection. The pictures provided by their company of the move in condition pretty much looked flawless. Email said to add anything within 5 days. I sent two emails with pictures and got a reply stating I was to contact maintenance like previously noted. Nothing about noting the conditions I found. I.E scratches, dents in the garage doors, etc. Also the kitchen sink leaks, fireplace fan (our only heat) doesn’t work and a towel rack already fell off the wall. We also had no trash can when we should’ve, so I had to call and get that on my own. But don’t worry, I just received an email giving me the website where I can pay for my trash because it’s paid by AH4R.
  This house never should have been rented without heat in the first place! Leaks, and all electric things should’ve been checked by AH4R first also. We were told deposit would be 1 months rent because we have 750+ credit, but they changed it to 1 1/4 and said I can wait till the next week for it to go down, but “they can’t promise the house will be available.”
  We haven’t even lived here a week and I’m already over this place and can’t wait to get out!
