  Given it’s the DMV, I think a large dose of patience goes a long way in shaping your experience.
  
  I arrived at 6:50 am on a Saturday, and there already were about 30 people in line. Some people had brought camping chairs (someone running a breakfast food truck would do well to hang out by this DMV on a Saturday morning). By the time the doors opened at 8 am, the line had more than doubled - easily 100 people in line.
  
  It took about 20 minutes to get checked in, and they stated very early on there were only 15 slots for road tests due to the abbreviated Saturday hours (luckily, I wasn’t there for that),
  
  The employee who checked me in was a bit hurried but not rude. I ended up fourth in line in my category, and I waited about 10-15 minutes until my number was called. Only 9 of the 12 stations were open that day.
  
  The person I worked with was super friendly and upbeat. Most chipper DMV employee I’ve ever interacted with. Only took about 10 minutes to renew my license. In all, from the doors opening, it took less than an hour to complete my renewal.
